About Us

The Jericho Athletic Association is a non-profit organization whose ideals over the years have been to allow the children of Jericho to participate in a community sports program. The cornerstone of the organization is the teaching of the basic skills of the sport, learning good sportsmanship, fostering the friendships made and to have fun while playing.

The Jericho Athletic Association has over 650 children participating in each of our sports seasons – Basketball, Baseball/Softball, and Soccer. Our Travel program for these sports keeps growing every year, allowing the children of Jericho to compete with teams from other communities on Long Island.

Our Track & Field program is open to all students who are interested in participating, as well as to all our travel teams as a great conditioning program. Many of these runners participate in various track meets throughout Long Island

Our success over the years is attributed to the commitment of the members of the Association’s Executive Board, the various Division Heads and the 150 plus coaches who volunteer their time and energy for the kids. Through these individual’s tireless efforts and dedication to the community, the JAA provides a wonderful sport program for the children of the Jericho School District.
